    ROAD-MAP FOR IMPROVEMENT -

Too often when teaching a lesson the student has no idea what he or she is trying to accomplish by taking the lesson. When asked, the popular answer is "to play better golf"...hmmm...seriously? Let me say, this article is not aimed directly at beginners and should be very beneficial to the plus one handicappers out there as well.

is vitally important to set goals for yourself and work as hard as possible to stay on track and maintain those goals. Be specific with the timeline and adjust to the specifics of your own goals. Some people want to beat their co-workers, beat their dads, win tournaments, enjoy the game a little more, or even stop being the ATM machine in their weekly golf group. One great thing about golf is that it means something different to all of us. However, the common denominator is we all want to improve.  These days, most of us do not have time to waste which makes the practice time we do allow for ourselves even more important. You should always practice with a purpose. Success isn't something that just happens. First it is learned and then practiced. If you have questions about your own "Road-map for Improvement", please shoot me an email and I will be happy to assist.
